Organic Ontario Farms-Some of the organic farms we support

Ever wonder where this stuff really comes from and the people that grew it. Certified Organic farming is very labour intensive, it is a true labour of love. Here is a list of some of the wonderful farmers/farms that we use. Most people think of our local season from June– October but for some items it is year round and there are lots of stored crops for the winter plus greenhouse items that allow us to eat delightfully local all year, like a farmers market right to your door

This list is for fresh farmed certified organic products only (organic meat and other organic Ontario products will be added to another list)

Zephyr Organics Durham Region

Local seasonal organic vegetables leaf letuce, romaine, carrots, beets, kale, chard etc

Lakeside Organics-Ontario

Year round greenhouse organic vegetables, tomato, cucumbers, peppers

Norfolk Organics- Ontario

Seasonal organic produce,vegetables and fruit, lettuce, beets, carrots, potato etc

Pfennings Organics-Ontario

Seasonal organic vegetable, fruit, stored crops, beets, carrots, lettuce, kale, potato etc

Slegers Organic Greenhouse Ontario

Year greenhouse organic lettuce and herbs

Windmill Mushroom Farm, Ashburn

Local Durham Region year round organic mushrooms, crimini, white,button shitake

Hope Organic-Ontario

Seasonal organic fruits vegetables, cucumber, zucchini, squash lettuce
