Managing Your Orders

Standing order 

Automatic reoccuring order system that you can customize yourself or leave on autopilot for a surprise

Weekly and bi weekly order rotation that you can easily hold if you are going out of town with a simple click


Account Changes

Durham Organics is a self-managed order system. Customers have the ability to start, hold, or skip deliveries easily by logging into their accounts.

Customers are also able to make changes to their weekly orders and to their reoccurring standing orders.

Below are instructions to easily manage your orders.


Customizing Orders

Customers are able to customize their baskets from Friday at 3:00pm to Monday morning at 7:00am.

1. Login to your account

2. Click on ‘Customize’ that is found below your weekly order (this function is only available on Fridays after 3:00pm-Mondays at 7:00am).

3. Change the quantity (including “0”) of any and all items you want to change, you may add or take away and then press “Submit.” For more selections, use the “Add Product” menu at the bottom to select new produce. Continue to add produce until the menu disappears. Click on “Submit”

Tip * The drop down menu displays items of equal or lesser value so if you want to see more option that are higher priced take out all your selections first.


The Love It and Never Send List

Never Sends automatically come out of your bin.

The Love It list helps us add back in a product you really love when you have a never send and also if we need to substitute something*

1. Login to your account

2. Click ‘Preferences’ near the top of the screen

3. Choose from the list of fruits or vegetables the items you want to add to the ‘Love It’ list or the ‘Never Send’ list

* Due to availability, shortages, and quality items may be substituted in your bin.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, check, or E-Transfer.  All accounts are expected to be up to date at all times.  If you forget to put out your money then please send an E-Transfer that day.

A $3 late charge will apply on all accounts not paid before the end of the delivery day.


I’m going on vacation. How do I put my delivery on hold for the week?

1. Login to your account

2. Click 'Delivery Schedule' at the top of the screen.

3. Click the box that corresponds to the date you wish to hold your order and click 'Submit Changes'. You are able to suspend your deliveries for up to 16 weeks in advance.

Afterwards, you will get an email confirming that your deliveries will be held for the selected dates.


How Can I Save Money?

There are a several ways you can save money:

12 Week Subscription Program 

  • Pay ahead for 12 weeks and get your 13th box free!

Referral Program

  • Refer a friend and receive $10.00 off your order when your friend orders!

Oops! I need to cancel my order after the cutoff time of Monday at 7:00am!

Unfortunately, we cannot cancel orders after the cutoff of time of Monday at 7:00am because the orders go into the farmers and suppliers for the week.

If it is after the cutoff time, you will still be charged for the delivery. See below for options

Donate your bin to a local charity

We can have the bin sent to friend or family for that week

You may also choose to receive the bin as usual 


I have decided to cancel my deliveries for the time being.. How do I do this?

If you have had any issues with your orders please get in touch with us and we will do everything we can to help. If you still want to cancel your order please login and delete your standing order.



Do I have to be home to receive my order?

You do not have to be home to receive the delivery. Leave out your empty bin for collection and your new bin will be delivered to your specified location in your sign up form.

Can I pick up my order?

At this point, we do not have a retail location so it is delivery only. Our packers and drivers are not at the warehouse at set times.

Where should I leave my payment?

For the first week, we ask that new customers email us the location where their payment can be found (i.e. taped to the door, in a marked envelope in the mailbox, under a welcome mat, etc.). Afterwards, we ask that payment is left in the empty bin from the previous week.

When will my organic box be delivered?

Your organic box will be delivered between 4:30PM-9:30PM.
